About the role

We are looking for a Principal Software Engineer to help build next-generation AI systems within the healthcare space.

This role focuses on designing and deploying highly scalable, production-grade systems related to patient communication, triage workflows, AI agent orchestration, and secure healthcare data platforms.

You will join a highly technical environment focused on solving complex real-world problems through AI, distributed systems, and modern software engineering practices.

This is not a traditional enterprise engineering role — we are looking for builders who thrive in ambiguity, ownership, and high-impact environments.

What you’ll do

- Design and deploy AI-powered healthcare systems at scale

- Build backend services and distributed systems using Python and modern architectures

- Work on patient communication and triage workflows

- Contribute to AI agent orchestration and automation layers

- Build secure healthcare data systems with reliability and compliance in mind

- Work on low-latency voice/video and real-time interaction systems

- Integrate with enterprise and healthcare platforms





- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to turn ambiguous requirements into scalable solutions

- Help define engineering standards, architecture, and technical direction

What we’re looking for

- +5 years building complex, production-grade systems

- Strong backend engineering experience with:

- Python

- distributed systems

- scalable architectures

- Experience working on:

- AI-driven communication systems

- triage or workflow automation

- AI agent orchestration

- secure data platforms

- Ability to translate ambiguous problems into practical engineering solutions

- Strong ownership mindset and product thinking

- Comfortable working in fast-moving startup environments

Nice to have

- Experience with:

- low-latency voice/video systems

- healthcare or regulated environments

- Rust, Go, or TypeScript

- enterprise integrations

- Experience building AI-native or agentic systems in production

Work model

- Full remote from Spain

- Full-time position
