Key Responsibilities

Project Delivery & Governance

- Lead the end-to-end delivery of multiple concurrent Data & Analytics projects and workstreams.
- Define, manage, and monitor project plans, milestones, dependencies, deliverables, and critical paths.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, budget, and quality expectations.
- Establish and maintain effective governance frameworks, reporting mechanisms, and delivery controls.
- Organize and facilitate project governance meetings, steering committees, and executive-level reviews.

Stakeholder Management

- Act as the primary point of contact between Business stakeholders and technical delivery teams.
- Build strong relationships across Business, IT, Data, and Analytics functions.
- Negotiate priorities, scope, timelines, and delivery commitments with stakeholders at different levels.
- Present project status, progress updates, risks, issues, and recommendations to senior Business and IT management.

Technical Delivery Oversight

- Challenge technical estimates, delivery plans, architecture decisions, assumptions, and resource requirements.
- Ensure alignment between technical solutions and business objectives.
- Identify delivery risks, technical dependencies, and potential bottlenecks proactively.
- Support teams in resolving complex delivery issues and escalating critical risks when required.

Risk & Quality Management

- Drive continuous risk identification, assessment, mitigation, and management activities.
- Maintain project RAID logs (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, and Dependencies).
- Ensure appropriate quality assurance processes and governance are applied throughout the delivery lifecycle.
- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) planning, execution, and business sign-off processes.





Agile Delivery & Tooling

- Manage and maintain Azure DevOps boards and delivery documentation.
- Promote Agile delivery practices and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Monitor project metrics and KPIs to provide visibility into delivery performance.

- Minimum 10 years of experience delivering complex technology projects and programmes.
- Proven track record managing large-scale Data & Analytics initiatives in enterprise environments.
- Strong experience coordinating cross-functional teams across Business and Technology domains.
- Demonstrated ability to manage risks, dependencies, budgets, timelines, and stakeholder expectations in complex environments.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, influencing, and presentation skills.
- Experience leading governance forums and executive-level reporting.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to challenge technical teams constructively while maintaining collaborative relationships.
- Professional fluency in English (written and spoken).

Technical Knowledge

Working knowledge and practical understanding of:

Data & Analytics

- Databricks and modern Data Engineering platforms.
- Data modelling concepts (relational and dimensional).
- Data Warehousing architectures.
- ETL / ELT design and implementation approaches.
- Advanced Analytics and Artificial Intelligence concepts.




- Business Intelligence and reporting solutions.

Reporting & Visualization

- Power BI.
- Semantic Models.
- Enterprise analytics and reporting solutions.

Delivery & Software Engineering

- Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Requirements gathering and functional analysis.
- Quality Assurance (QA) methodologies.
- User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Azure DevOps.
- Agile delivery methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, Agile at scale environments).

Preferred Qualifications

- PRINCE2 Practitioner certification.
- Scrum Master, Scrum Product Owner, or other Agile certifications.
- Experience within Financial Services, Insurance, Banking, or other highly regulated industries.
- Experience working in international and multicultural environments.
