We are dedicated to enhancing connections between pet parents and pet service providers. Our mission extends to developing sophisticated solutions that tackle diverse challenges with the booking experience, cross-platform communication, personalized scheduling, secure payments and building trust and ensuring safety in the marketplace. Our team plays a crucial role in elevating the marketplace experience across web, iOS, and Android platforms, significantly impacting the end-to-end customer journey.Who we are looking for:Rover is seeking one talentedSr. Product Designerto join our team in Barcelona. Working in partnership with our cross-functional teams, the designer will work on crucial parts of our experience. Our product teams are expanding and the designer joining will help influence the strategy and deliver engaging and intuitive experience for our whole community of users.This is a hybrid position that has the minimum expectation to work out of our Barcelona Office in the Poblenou neighborhood two days per week on Mondays and Thursdays. For this reason,
candidates must be based in Barcelona or willing to relocate.The role:Work hand-in-hand with product managers and engineers to establish product requirements, roadmaps, and user experiencesRun workshops and collaborate closely with product management to identify and define strategic product-investment opportunities that align with our key objectivesPartner with our UX Research team to conduct user and usability testing throughout the product life-cycle, ensuring a seamless user experienceEmploy a human-centered design approach, blending psychological insights, data, and user research to guide design decisionsConsistently integrate empathy and user insights into daily interactions with your team, championing the voice of our usersTake full ownership of your projects, actively seeking and incorporating feedback from peers, stakeholders and customers to enhance our community’s experience for both owners and sittersCreate engaging customer experiences from concept to engineering-ready deliverablesWork collaboratively with fellow designers to develop and refine our design systemHelp shape the platform's long-term vision and user experience as part of a dedicated and dynamic design teamEstablish and track customer experience metrics for your projects, ensuring alignment with our goalsWhat we are looking for in you:4+ years of experience in UX/Product designTrack record of proven customer and business outcomesProficiency in design tools like Figma and other prototyping softwareExperience across various UX design platforms, including web, mobile web, and native appsAbility to effectively consolidate diverse stakeholder views to achieve aligned objectives and explore innovative solutionsStrong track record of collaborative work with creatives, utilizing excellent critical thinking skillsData‑driven design approach, with comfort in using business, product,
