A leading company in the chemical industry based in Barcelona is seeking a Strategic Commercial Director to lead and develop its commercial and marketing activities, driving sustainable growth and strengthening the company's position in domestic and international markets.Key Responsibilities:Develop and execute commercial strategies to strengthen market position, expand business opportunities and drive profitable growth through effective commercial planning execution.Lead, coach and develop the commercial team, fostering a high-performance culture and ensuring the achievement of commercial targets.Monitor business performance through key indicators and ensure the effective execution of commercial plans across territories and customer segments.Build and strengthen long-term relationships with key customers, identifying opportunities, addressing business needs and leading negotiations with strategic accounts.Drive market analysis and business intelligence activities to identify emerging trends,



new applications and market opportunities for the company's product portfolio.Provide strategic leadership across commercial and marketing initiatives to strengthen the company's market presence and support business growth.Ensure a consistent corporate image and communication strategy across all business functions and customer touchpoints.Requirements:University degree in scientific, engineering o business-related disciplines.MBA or additional studies in Business Management, Sales and/or Marketing would be highly valued.Proven experience in a senior commercial leadership role within a B2B industrial environment.Demonstrated success in leading, developing and motivating commercial teams.Fluent English is essential, additional languages will be considered an advantage.Availability to travel nationally and internationally.Skills Profile:We are looking for a proactive and dynamic professional with strong leadership and communication capabilities; strong strategic thinking combined with a hands-on approach to business development.
