Are you an experienced IT Technical Lead who thrives in complex integration and digital transformation environments? We are looking for a Freelance IT Technical Lead to act as the technical counterpart of a software delivery partner and ensure the successful design, integration and delivery of a large-scale technology platform.

As the technical bridge between business stakeholders, internal teams and external vendors, you will challenge technical decisions, safeguard solution quality and ensure that the delivered architecture aligns with long-term business and technology objectives.

Your responsibilities

- Review and challenge technical analysis, solution designs, architecture documents and data models delivered by external partners.
- Ensure proposed solutions are scalable, secure, maintainable and aligned with enterprise architecture principles.
- Monitor technical quality throughout the entire delivery lifecycle, from requirements and design to testing, deployment and production.
- Define and uphold quality standards regarding architecture, development practices, testing, documentation and deployment processes.
- Lead technical discussions with internal and external stakeholders and provide guidance on complex technical topics.
- Act as the primary technical point of contact for business analysts,



domain experts and project stakeholders.
- Coordinate with infrastructure, security, data and other technical teams to ensure successful solution delivery.
- Identify risks, challenge assumptions and proactively drive technical decision-making.

Your profile

- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Technical Lead, Solution Architect or Senior Software Engineer.
- Strong experience in complex software development and integration projects.
- Solid knowledge of APIs, microservices and event-driven architectures.
- Proven experience reviewing and governing technical deliverables from external software vendors.
- Good understanding of software architecture, system integration and enterprise application landscapes.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing and software quality practices.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Fluent in Dutch and English.
