For an entrepreneurial investment platform, we are looking for a Portfolio Value Creation Manager to join its Belgian team.

The role combines active involvement in portfolio companies with participation in new investment opportunities. You will work closely with entrepreneurs and management teams to help businesses execute strategic priorities, improve performance and realise their growth ambitions.

Investment professionals remain involved throughout the full investment lifecycle, from evaluating opportunities through to supporting portfolio companies after investment.

The Role

A significant part of the role is focused on portfolio companies.

Working closely with management teams, you will help define priorities, monitor progress and support the execution of key initiatives. Depending on the needs of the business, this can range from acting as a strategic sparring partner to becoming more actively involved in driving implementation and follow-up.

You will typically work with a small number of portfolio companies and support management teams on topics such as growth initiatives, operational improvements, organisational development and business performance.

The role requires someone who is comfortable moving between strategic discussions and operational realities. One day may involve assessing a potential investment opportunity,



while another may be spent on-site with a portfolio company helping management tackle a specific challenge.

Alongside portfolio responsibilities, you will contribute to the evaluation and execution of new investments, including commercial analysis, due diligence and transaction execution.

Profile

We are interested in professionals with approximately 7 to 12 years of experience, although we place greater emphasis on the relevance and quality of experience than on a specific number of years.

Relevant experience may have been gained in:

- Strategy, transformation or management consulting
- Private equity, investment or M&A; environments
- Operational, project or business leadership roles
- Entrepreneurial, family-owned or SME businesses
- Corporate environments combined with meaningful hands-on business exposure

Successful candidates will typically bring:

- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- A pragmatic and hands-on approach
- The ability to work independently and take ownership
- Experience driving projects, initiatives or change programmes from idea through execution
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- A genuine interest in working with entrepreneurs and growing businesses

Previous investment experience is valuable but not essential.
