Offer Description

VHIR is seeking a Clinical Researcher to join the Pneumology Department and the Catalan Centre for Alpha-1 Antitrypsin Deficiency. The successful candidate will support the research group in its clinical research activities focused on chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) and alpha-1 antitrypsin deficiency.

- Provide support to the research group in the areas of COPD and alpha-1 antitrypsin deficiency.

- Contribute to the design of clinical research protocols.

- Collect data and contribute to data analysis and interpretation.

- Enter and maintain data in registries and databases.

- Prepare reports and contribute to the scientific communication and dissemination of research results.

- Completion of specialist medical training (MIR).

- Fluency in Catalan, Spanish and English (professional working proficiency).

- Interest in clinical research.

Experience and knowledge
Required

-

- Relevant clinical experience as a medically qualified professional.

- Experience participating in research projects and/or research programmes.

- Clinical experience in the management of chronic respiratory diseases, particularly COPD and alpha-1 antitrypsin deficiency.

- Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, REDCap and database management.





- Knowledge of statistics and experience in database analysis.

Labour conditions

- Working hours : Part-time (18,75 hours per week).

- Gross annual salary : Remuneration will be determined by experience, skills and responsibilities and aligned with the Collective Agreement pay scale.

- Contract type : Technical and scientific activities contract linked to project activities.
