E-commerce & Business Development Manager – Marketplaces & European Website

skinChemists is a UK skincare group selling to retailers, marketplaces and consumers across Europe. Our European operation runs out of our warehouse in Sant Feliu de Llobregat, just outside Barcelona, and we're looking for a bilingual e-commerce professional to own its growth.

Three things sit with you: our marketplace channels, our European website, and the new business we build across the region.

This is a hands-on commercial job, not a supervisory one. You'll be writing the listings, watching the margins, chasing the buyers and fixing the things that break. We're at the stage where one person can genuinely move the numbers — if you want a role where you see the effect of your own work inside a week, this is it.

The role

You'll be based at our Sant Feliu de Llobregat site, working alongside the operations team and reporting into the UK. Sant Feliu is around twenty minutes from Barcelona Sants on the R4 Rodalies line, and easily reached from across the Baix Llobregat.

Your week will split roughly three ways.

Business development

- Find and approach new retail, distributor and wholesale partners across Europe
- Handle first contact through to onboarding, working with the UK team on terms
- Build the relationships that turn a first order into a standing account
- Negotiate and manage ongoing accounts, pricing and promotional plans
- Represent skinChemists at trade shows and buyer meetings

Marketplaces





- Run and grow our marketplace presence across Spain and wider Europe — Amazon, and the beauty platforms that matter in each market
- Own listings end to end: content, imagery, keywords, variations, pricing and promotions
- Manage stock allocation and forecasting across channels alongside the operations team
- Track performance by SKU and by market, and act on what the data tells you
- Open new marketplaces where the numbers make sense

skinChemists Europe website

- Take day-to-day ownership of the European site — merchandising, product pages, campaigns and promotions
- Improve conversion and average order value through steady, tested changes
- Coordinate with the UK team on brand, content and product launches
- Keep the site accurate on stock, pricing, tax and delivery across European markets

What we're looking for

Essential:

- Fluent English and Spanish, written and spoken — you'll use both every day
- Commercial e-commerce experience, ideally including selling on marketplaces
- A track record in business development — finding partners, opening accounts, closing deals
- Comfortable with numbers: margin, stock cover, cost per sale, contribution
- Able to commute to Sant Feliu de Llobregat,



with the legal right to work in Spain

Helpful, but not essential:

- Experience in beauty, skincare, health or another consumer product category
- Shopify, Amazon Seller Central or similar platforms
- A third European language
- Experience taking a brand into a new market

- €37,500 – €42,500 gross per year, depending on experience
- Performance bonus taking realistic on-target earnings to €50,000
