This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Vendor Security & Standards Manager based in Spain.
This is a senior global security role focused on ensuring external supply chain partners consistently meet rigorous security standards.
You will own vendor security requirements across carriers, 3PLs, freight forwarders, guarding companies, and last-mile providers.
The role combines standards ownership, physical compliance inspections, corrective action management, and vendor performance oversight.
You will operate across multiple international regions, identifying security gaps and driving measurable improvements across a complex vendor network.
Success requires a firm, independent approach and the ability to hold vendors accountable while building effective working relationships.
The position offers significant exposure to integral supply chain security, critical infrastructure, and rapidly evolving technology environments.
Extensive international travel will be an important part of the role,



with occasional availability required for urgent compliance matters.

Accountabilities
Own and continuously improve the global vendor security standards framework, ensuring requirements remain comprehensive, current, enforceable, and aligned with relevant policies and industry best practices.
Establish and enforce clear security compliance expectations for carriers, 3PLs, freight forwarders, guarding companies, last-mile providers, and other external supply chain partners.
Ensure vendors formally accept applicable security requirements before beginning operational activities and work with legal and procurement teams to embed these obligations into contracts and service agreements.
Conduct scheduled and unannounced physical inspections at vendor facilities, transit locations, and operational sites across international regions.
