An opportunity for a *Stress Engineer* has arisen within *Airbus Defence and Space, Getafe (Madrid)*. The selected candidate will join the *Stress Department (Military Derivatives / Air Power)*. We are building a brand-new team inside an ambitious and challenging new upcoming military Program that will help reinforce European sovereignty. The team is dedicated to structural stress analysis and works in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment in close contact with internal engineering groups, experts, authorities, and external sub-contractors. *RESPONSIBILITIES* The main tasks of the jobholder will be: *Analyse and validate* metallic, composite, or hybrid structures from a stress point of view. *Write and check* stress dossiers, reports, technical justifications, test programs, and test reports. *Define* justification approaches and ensure activity progress with support from Technical Authorities and Senior Engineers.



*Support* manufacturing processes by assessing structural non-conformities. *Collaborate* closely with design engineers, experts, civil/military authorities, internal Airbus engineering teams, and subcontractors. *SKILLS* Is your profile aligned to the following list of skills?
