✨ About the Role

The Student Success Advisor (SSA) plays a critical role in shaping the student experience at Verto Education. SSAs create an inclusive, supportive environment that promotes academic success, personal growth, and engagement with Verto’s core values: compassion, transformation, vulnerability, and responsibility.

In this role, you will mentor a cohort of approximately 30-35 students, providing holistic support across academic, personal, and community dimensions.



You will act as a key resource for students while collaborating closely with academic and student life teams to ensure a high-quality, cohesive experience.

What You’ll Be Doing

Student Success & Academic Support
- Monitor student academic engagement, attendance, and performance, intervening when needed
- Provide first-level academic advising and escalate complex concerns appropriately
- Support students in developing effective study habits and academic skills
- Guide students through academic processes (add/drop, withdrawals, accommodations)
- Advise on academic policies (attendance, integrity, grading, etc.)
- Support students in post-Verto planning and understanding transfer pathways
- Collaborate with academic staff to support student success outcomes
- Maintain accurate academic records and reporting

Community Building & Student Engagement
- Foster an inclusive, student-centered community environment
- Lead Care Team initiatives, including regular meetings and monthl
