Program Summary
KBR's Readiness and Sustainment (R&S;)division is the Team Behind the Mission®. We deliver mission critical services to the U.S. military and coalition partners around the world. Our key capabilities include base operations; contingency and expeditionary support; next generation asset management; digitally focused logistics; prepositioned stock; and integrated supply chain management.
KBR supports the operational needs of U.S. armed forces at Morón Air Base in Spain and several bases in Turkey. Our services ensure smooth operations, allowing Air Force and government personnel to focus on their missions. We provide program management,
civil engineering, morale, welfare, and recreation support, among other essential services. Awarded by the Air Force Installation Contracting Center, our contract spans a five-year base period with three one-year options, reflecting our commitment to excellence and operational support.
Job Summary
This will be an onsite position with fulltime deployment to Moron Air Base in Moron, Spain
Roles and Responsibilities
- Supervises assigned personnel performing freight functions.
- Prepare and move cargo in line with IAW AFI 24-602V2 and DTR: Receive, inspect, and pack outbound cargo for shipment. Receive, inspect and in-check inbound cargo, executing all cargo shipping procedures.
- Complete DD Form 1149, Requisition and Shipping Document; DD Form 1384, Transportation Control and Movement Document; and other forms associated with DOD freight movement.
- Provide response/on-call service for 999/N
