About us:
Taste Bistro is part of the TASTE CANARIAS family - a stable and well-established name in gastronomy in Arguineguín since 2014.
Our concept delivers well-crafted, seasonal, and creative bistro-style food in a relaxed and welcoming environment. We prepare all food from scratch: baking our own bread, producing our own oils, sauces, and preserves - with a strong commitment to zero waste and sustainability throughout the business.
About the role:
We’re looking for a chef with at least 2 years of experience and a strong desire to grow in the profession. You enjoy working with fresh ingredients, you care about quality, and you work well in a structured, fast-paced kitchen environment.
You’re also looking for a long-term position in a serious company with real development and career opportunities.
Main responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook dishes according to our bistro concept and seasonal menu
- Collaborate in the development of new dishes and menus
- Maintain structure, hygiene,
and organization in the kitchen (HACCP)
- Work sustainably and respectfully with ingredients and resources

We are looking for someone who:
- Has at least 2 years of experience as a chef
- Is motivated and wants to grow professionally
- Is detail-oriented, reliable, and solution-focused
- Enjoys working in a fast-paced and team-oriented kitchen
- Has a basic understanding of English (preferred)
- Knowledge of Spanish or other languages is a plus
- Holds all legal documentation required to work in Spain / Gran Canaria (required)
