Description
Ryanair Labs is currently recruiting a .NET Payments Developer to join Europe’s Largest Airline Group.

We are looking for an experienced .NET Payments Developer to join our Payments Engineering Team, working alongside talented engineers located in Dublin, Lisbon and Wroclaw. In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain highly scalable payment solutions that process millions of transactions annually, while ensuring exceptional reliability, security, and customer experience throughout the payment journey.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-quality, scalable, and resilient payment services using modern .NET technologies and Agile methodologies.
- Build and enhance integrations with multiple payment providers, acquirers, gateways,
and alternative payment methods.
- Ensure the reliability, performance, and security of mission-critical payment systems operating at high transaction volumes.
- Collaborate closely with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Finance, and commercial stakeholders to define and deliver new payment capabilities.
- Contribute to the architecture and evolution of Ryanair’s payment ecosystem, focusing on scalability, observability, and operational excellence.
- Drive engineering best practices including code quality, automated testing, continuous integration, and continuous delivery.
- Monitor and optimize payment flows to improve conversion rates, reduce failures, and enhance the customer payment experience.
- Participate in technical reviews, solution design workshops, and showcases with business stakeholders.
