At Capitole, we are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to join a long-term international project for a leading client in the automotive sector.

The position has a strong Backend Engineering focus, working mainly with Python and Django, while also contributing to data processing and data-driven services within an Azure-based cloud platform.

? What will you do?

- Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Python and Django.
- Develop and integrate APIs and data-driven backend components.
- Work with MongoDB and process data using pandas/NumPy.
- Contribute to scalable and maintainable solutions within a cloud-based platform.
- Participate in Git-based development workflows, pull requests, and code reviews.
- Collaborate with international technical teams and stakeholders.
- Ensure code quality, reliability, and maintainability.

? What are we looking for?

- 5+ years of professional experience in software/backend engineering.
- Strong professional experience with Python.
- Solid experience with Django
- Experience developing backend services and APIs.
- Experience with MongoDB.
- Experience processing data using pandas.
- Experience with Git-based workflows and code reviews.
- Experience working with Jira and Confluence.
- Advanced level of English required.
