Role Description This is a full-time, remote Bookkeeper role supporting the financial operations of Slate Brands and its portfolio of beauty brands. The Bookkeeper will manage day-to-day accounting activities, including recording and reconciling transactions, processing journal entries, maintaining general ledgers, and preparing basic financial reports. Responsibilities include monitoring accounts payable and receivable, assisting with month-end and year-end close, and ensuring accurate,



timely data entry in accounting software. The role also involves supporting the finance team with audits, documentation, and process improvements, while adhering to internal controls and compliance standards.
Qualifications
Strong bookkeeping skills, including maintaining ledgers and accurate transaction records.
Experience preparing and reviewing financial statements and basic financial reports.
Proficiency with accounting software and related finance tools.
Ability to create and post journal entries and support general accounting processes.
Solid understanding of finance and accounting principles.
High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and reliability in handling confidential information.
Effective written and verbal communication skills and ability to collaborate with remote teams.
Prior experience in bookkeeping or accounting; experience in consumer goods or beauty industries is a plus.
