At Hays, we are looking for an EDGC Functional Collibra SaaS Software Engineer to support the configuration, enhancement, and operation of the Enterprise Data Governance Catalog (EDGC) platform based on Collibra SaaS. This role acts as the functional and technical specialist for the platform, ensuring that data governance capabilities, business glossaries, metadata management, data lineage, access governance, and data product lifecycle processes are effectively implemented and continuously improved. The position works closely with business stakeholders, Data Domain Owners, Product Owners, architects, and engineering teams to deliver scalable governance solutions aligned with enterprise data management standards and best practices.

What you will do

- Configure, administer, and continuously improve the Enterprise Data Governance Catalog (EDGC) platform based on Collibra SaaS.
- Design and maintain governance workflows supporting Data Products, Business Glossaries, Data Stewardship, Data Sharing Agreements, and Access Governance processes.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, Data Domain Owners, Product Owners, architects, and development teams to gather requirements and translate them into scalable platform configurations.
- Configure and manage Collibra capabilities including Data Catalog, Data Lineage, Data Notebook, Data Products, metadata management, and governance workflows.
- Support metadata governance initiatives, ensuring data assets are properly documented, classified, and governed across the enterprise.
- Define and maintain user roles, permissions, and access management processes within the platform.
- Support integration requirements through Collibra REST APIs, GraphQL APIs, Java APIs, Edge Connectors, and other enterprise integration mechanisms.




- Participate in SaaS platform releases, configuration deployments, testing activities, and CI/CD-driven platform lifecycle management.
- Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT), production validation, and post-release support activities.
- Monitor platform adoption and collaborate with stakeholders to drive governance maturity and user engagement.
- Contribute to the continuous evolution of enterprise data governance standards, operating models, and best practices.
- Support platform troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and operational excellence activities.

What we are looking for

- Strong experience with the Collibra Data Intelligence Platform and enterprise Data Governance environments.
- Hands-on expertise configuring and administering SaaS applications within complex enterprise organizations.
- Experience defining and implementing governance workflows, stewardship processes, business glossaries, metadata management frameworks, and data catalog solutions.
- Solid understanding of Collibra Operating Models and governance process implementation.
- Knowledge of Collibra REST APIs, GraphQL APIs, Java APIs, Edge Connectors, and CLI tools.
- Experience supporting Data Product lifecycle management, metadata governance, data lineage, and access governance processes.
- Understanding of enterprise data management concepts, including metadata, lineage, stewardship, data quality, and information governance.




- Experience working within Agile/Scrum delivery environments and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to bridge business and technical requirements.
- Experience supporting testing, release management, CI/CD processes, and production platform operations.

Nice to Have

- 4+ years of experience working with Collibra or comparable Data Governance, Metadata Management, or Data Catalog platforms.
- Experience implementing enterprise-wide governance frameworks and operating models.
- Knowledge of Collibra AI Command Center and AI Governance capabilities.
- Experience supporting large-scale SaaS platform transformations and governance initiatives.
- Familiarity with cloud-based enterprise architectures and platform integrations.
- Exposure to regulated environments with strong compliance and governance requirements.
- Understanding of Data Sharing agreements, regulatory governance processes, and information lifecycle management.
- Experience driving adoption, training, and change management initiatives related to enterprise governance platforms.
- Knowledge of software engineering practices, DevOps methodologies, and CI/CD deployment models.
