Amazon builds fast—and behind every new Fulfillment Center, Sortation Center, Delivery Station, and capital investment is a critical question: Are we buying the right solution at the right price? We're looking for a Cost & Value Engineering Manager to partner with Amazon's North America Design & Construction stakeholders, delivering construction cost engineering and value engineering services that optimize design, validate costs, and inform capital investment decisions across Amazon's infrastructure network.

This role is high-impact, high-variety, and technically demanding. You'll develop bottom-up cost estimates, should-cost models, and Value Engineering analyses across a diverse portfolio of building types, material handling equipment (MHE), automation, and capital projects. From multi-site retrofit programs to complex, one-off initiatives, you'll evaluate design alternatives, optimize specifications, identify cost drivers, and produce defensible cost models that shape sourcing, design, and investment decisions. Working from early concepts through bid-ready construction documents,



you'll apply technical expertise to balance cost, quality, performance, and operational requirements.

As part of Amazon's Integral Procurement Organization within the Sourcing Excellence pillar, you'll partner closely with Engineering, Design, Construction, Procurement, and Category teams to ensure Amazon is buying the right solution at the right price. You'll also collaborate with AI and Market Intelligence Solutions, leveraging AI-powered tools to accelerate analysis, develop scalable cost intelligence, and advance next-generation automation that expands the reach and impact of Cost & Value Engineering across Amazon.
