Full-Time English Teacher School Year 2026/27 - Temporary Cover.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, vocational and experienced English Teacher to join our team on a full-time temporary cover contract. Only for people who live in Gran Canaria.

We are looking for someone with a minimum C1 level of English (C2 preferred) and experience teaching across different age groups and levels, from Primary to Secondary and Bachillerato.

The ideal candidate will be:

An experienced and confident classroom teacher with excellent spoken English.
Hold the relevant qualifications required to teach English.
Able to adapt to the school’s teaching approach and methodology and work effectively as part of a team.
Comfortable teaching different age groups and proficiency levels.
Experienced in preparing students for official English language certifications.
Innovative and open-minded,



bringing creativity and fresh ideas into the classroom while maintaining high academic standards.
Able to combine exam preparation with real, communicative English, encouraging students to use the language naturally rather than simply memorising content.
Adaptable, proactive and genuinely enthusiastic about teaching.
