About the role

We are looking for a Software Engineering Consultant to work closely with clients and engineering teams to solve complex technical challenges, design scalable solutions, and help companies build better software.

This is a highly hands-on role. You will combine strong software engineering skills with the ability to understand business problems, communicate with stakeholders, and translate ambiguous requirements into practical technical solutions.

You will have exposure to different projects, technologies, and engineering environments, making this a great opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, problem-solving, and working directly with customers.

What you will do

- Work directly with clients to understand their technical and business challenges.
- Design, build, and implement high-quality software solutions.
- Translate business requirements into clear technical architectures and development plans.
- Contribute to architectural decisions and technical strategy.
- Develop production-quality code and integrations.
- Debug complex technical problems and identify scalable solutions.
- Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and other technical stakeholders.
- Communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Take ownership of projects from initial discovery through implementation.
- Identify opportunities to improve engineering processes, systems, and products.
- Stay up to date with modern software engineering practices, tools, and technologies.

What we are looking for

- 3+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- Strong programming skills in one or more modern languages such as Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, Go, or similar.
- Solid understanding of software architecture, APIs, databases,



and distributed systems.
- Experience building and deploying production software.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of complex projects.
- Excellent communication skills and confidence working directly with clients.
- Ability to operate effectively in ambiguous environments.
- Strong business orientation: you care not only about how something is built, but also why it matters.

Nice to have

- Previous experience in consulting, solutions engineering, forward-deployed engineering, or customer-facing engineering.
- Experience working with startups or high-growth technology companies.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Experience with AI/ML, LLMs, automation, or modern AI infrastructure.
- Experience designing integrations with third-party APIs.
- Previous experience working across multiple technology stacks.

You will be close to the customer, close to the problem, and close to the implementation. You will need to understand complex situations quickly, figure out what should be built, and then help make it happen.
