An opportunity for a *Senior Armament Systems & Weapon Integration Engineer *has arisen within *Airbus Defence and Space*, Getafe (Madrid). The successful candidate will ensure that all systems meet the highest levels of performance, safety, and regulatory compliance throughout their entire lifecycle. *System Development: *Manage the full product lifecycle-from concept to retirement- ensuring full compliance with regulatory frameworks and delivering systems that consistently met complex program requirements. *Technical Analysis:* Perform trade-off analyses, validate architectures, and lead performance analysis to optimize system solutions. *System Design*: Define architectures for Armament Control Systems, Stores Management Systems, and Weapon Bay/Carriage systems in cooperation with suppliers or partners. Lead the preparation and technical assessment of documentation for the design and development of armament systems and stores integration *Interface & Requirement Management:* Define interfaces and technical requirements across system, subsystem, and equipment levels, ensuring coherent integration and conducting impact analysis. *Integration Activities: *Lead the technical integration of weapons, stores, and armament systems by developing Interface Control Documents (ICDs) and performing technical assessments of both weapon-level and system-level architectures to ensure seamless operational capability within the aircraft ecosystem." *Testing & Qualification*: Develop system test benches and define ground/flight test requirements to support qualification and certification.



*Supplier Management*: Act as the primary technical point of contact for suppliers, ensuring technical alignment and compliance with system requirements *Technical Mentorship & Leadership: *Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and ensuring adherence to high-level engineering standards and best practices *SKILLS* Is your profile aligned to the following list of skills?
