Business Analyst – Logistics - Freelance

For a logistics organisation in Limburg, I am looking for an experienced Business Analyst to join on a long-term basis.

The organisation provides storage and same-day delivery services. Its operational environment is highly complex, with a longstanding ERP and microservices landscape supporting a significant volume of automated processes, while approximately 30% of activities still require manual intervention.

The organisation is looking to strengthen its Business Analysis capability and move towards a more structured, holistic approach to requirements and solution design. You will work closely with business stakeholders to understand the underlying problems behind customer requests and develop solutions that can be applied consistently across the wider organisation.

Responsibilities

- Act as the interface between business stakeholders, operational teams and technical delivery teams




- Analyse incoming business requests to understand the underlying problem rather than simply implementing the requested solution
- Gather, challenge and document business and functional requirements
- Work closely with stakeholders across the organisation to understand processes, pain points and operational requirements
- Translate business requirements into clear functional specifications for technical teams

Profile

- 5+ years' experience as a Business Analyst
- Strong experience in requirements gathering, process analysis and functional analysis
- Ideally experience working for a third party logistics customer/pharmaceutical company
- Dutch speaking is preferred
