We are looking for a Data Visualisation Specialist for a six-month project in Brussels. You will transform raw data into actionable insights and support strategic and operational decision-making. This hybrid assignment combines 50% on-site work with 50% homeworking. The start date is as soon as possible.

Key responsibilities

- Identify reporting and visualisation needs with business stakeholders.
- Capture requirements and translate them into prototypes and complete dashboards.
- Collect and assemble data to prototype visualisations with internal customers.
- Develop, update, optimise, publish and decommission dashboards and reports throughout their lifecycle.
- Ensure compliance with data, reporting, governance and security guidelines.
- Optimise and automate reports and dashboards.
- Collaborate with Data Engineers to create and evolve sustainable data solutions.
- Promote the reuse and consistency of data assets across regulatory, strategic, tactical and operational reporting.
- Establish, advocate and implement reporting and visualisation best practices.
- Coach junior Data Visualisation Specialists.




- Act as an ambassador for reporting and data governance.
- Document solutions and train users to maximise the available tools.
- Perform light data preparation during dashboard and reporting prototyping.

Must-Have Requirements

- You have at least six years of relevant experience in Data Analytics and Data Visualisation.
- You have prior experience in banking, Data Analytics and Project Management.
- You can prepare data for visualisation and build clear data stories that support decision-making.
- You can visualise data and design dashboards.
- You understand Data Warehouses, Data Marts, data extraction and data preparation processes.
- You understand data governance and security requirements.
- You understand data strategy.
- You have experience with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Access.
- You have experience with Tableau, SAP BusinessObjects and SAS Enterprise Guide.
- You can work within an Agile methodology.
- Dutch proficiency.
- French proficiency.
- English proficiency.
