The UDC Research Centres Coordination Office is the operational unit responsible for coordinating the activities of the UDC's leading R&D;&I; structures. It reports organisationally and functionally to the Vice-Rectorate for Research and Transfer, under the direction of the Office's Strategic Director.

Among other things, the role of the Technical Management Unit within this office is to ensure the effective coordination of R&D;&I; communication and dissemination activities carried out by the research centres and units of the University of A Coruña, as a key element in promoting their work externally. The successful candidate must demonstrate training and experience in R&D;&I; communication, science communication and institutional communication, preferably within a university or research centre setting, as well as experience in corporate communication.

Funding for the contract may be provided, in whole or in part, by any other project or grant allocated to the
Research Line, even before the end of the first few months, provided that adequate and sufficient funding is
available.

In accordance with the provisions of Article 5 of Instruction 2/2025, of 17 March 2025,



issued by the Vice-Rectorate for Research and Transfer, which regulates the registration of research and strategic lines and the recruitment of research staff on permanent contracts funded by such lines, the duration of this permanent contract is subject to the continued need for the tasks and the availability of adequate and sufficient funding within the research programme. The exhaustion of the funding allocated to the programme, or the completion of the technical activities justifying the post without the possibility of reallocation, shall constitute an objective ground for termination of the contract (Article 52(e) of the Workers' Statute).

Specific Requirements

Requirements. The requirements must have been met by the closing date for the submission of applications.
By the deadline for the submission of applications and throughout the duration of the contract, applicants must continue to meet and maintain the requirements set out in Article 8 of the Staff Recruitment Regulations, Chapter 6, relating to research and knowledge transfer projects, grants and agreements.
In order for merits to be assessed, it is essential to submit supporting documentation. Merits claimed without supporting evidence will not be assessed by the Selection Committee.

- General merits: All qualifications and certificates must be submitted in a legible PDF format.

- Professional experience: An up-to-date report on professional experience (or proof of self-employment under the RETA scheme) is required. This must be accompanied by employment contracts specifying the duties, a certificate or report on the tasks carried out in the workplace signed by the person or organisation under whose responsibility they were carried out, or a sworn statement of the duties performed signed by the applicant.

- Languages: Language proficiency must be demonstrated by means of an official certificate (e.g. CEFR, Cambridge, DELE, EOI)



or an equivalent recognised by the Selection Committee.

The post may be declared vacant if no candidate obtains more than 60 points (excluding the
interview score).

A waiting list will be drawn up comprising candidates who have obtained a minimum score of 60 points (excluding the interview score) and who have not been shortlisted by the Selection Committee. This list may be used in the event of the selected candidate's resignation or termination of their employment contract. Furthermore, this list may be used for future recruitment for the same purpose.
