EPAM builds enterprise software products, open source solutions, and accelerators. The role supports a strategic oversight platform that manages and monitors trade-generation activities for one of the world’s largest hedge funds, combining trading, technology, and AI.

Задачи

- Design, build, and support mission-critical applications for trading and investment teams;

- Develop modernfrontend applications using React for sophisticated users;

- Build scalablebackend services with Java, Scala, Go, or Python;

- Design and optimize APIs, data models, and database solutions;

- Develop and maintain cloud-native infrastructure and deployment pipelines using Kubernetes and Terraform;

- Contribute to architecture, engineering standards, and best practices across the technology stack;

- Leverage AI-powered development tools to enhance productivity and code quality;

- Partner with investors and traders to solve complex business and technical challenges;

- Drive reliability, scalability, and operational excellence in distributed systems;

- Evaluate and help implement emerging AI capabilities across engineering workflows.

Требования




- 10+ Years of professional software development experience in high-performance engineering environments;

- Strong computer science fundamentals, including algorithms, data structures, distributed systems, concurrency, and design principles;

- Exposure to AI-assisted development workflows and interest in AI adoption within engineering processes;

- Extensive backend development experience with Scala and/or Java;

- Strong frontend development experience with React;

- Proficiency with SQL and database-driven application design;

- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Terraform, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud platforms;

- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and a solid understanding of SDLC and engineering best practices;

- Experience building and operating large-scale production systems;

- Ability to work across frontend, backend services, infrastructure, and DevOps practices;

- Nice to have: Knowledge of Go and Python, passion for optimizing performance and scalability in distributed architectures.
