This position requires high technical skills and adequate industry knowledge to independently perform programming tasks while using judgement about seeking mentorship in complex situations. Senior Clinical Programmer will contribute to multi-functional initiatives with High complexity.Accountabilities:Responsibilities include (but not limited to) design, development,



implementation, and validation of sophisticated programs built in Python /SAS/R or dashboard applications such as PowerBI/Spotfire.Works towards the design, development, implementation, and validation of PowerBI dashboard applicationsPrograms independently with efficiency and quality to process, analyse and report clinical trial data ready for review by clinical study teamsContribute to design, develop and implement High complex projects or initiatives that are part of clinical programming roadmapContribute to defining and building vital processes and tools to perform clinical programming activities for both integral and study level analytical solutionsContributes to development of guidelines that enhances quality, efficiency, timelines and effectiveness within the functionProvide technical expertise, cross training and support as required to ensure the availability and performance of developed reports and dashboards for both external and internal usersLead all aspects of completion of documentation associated with programming tasks to ensure activities and processes performed are conducted per standard operating procedures, guidelines and protocolsEnsures high quality is built into own work and quality delivered by other programmersIdentifies and communicates risk within assigned studies and/or projectsCollaborates with various teams including data management, development operations,



clinical, biometrics and other relevant multi-functional teams supporting clinical trials to deliver end user reporting needsDevelop and maintain data visualization tools including requirements gathering, data provisioning and building dashboards as neededCreate and maintain catalogue of reports to aid data cleaning and reporting activitiesProvide technical expertise, cross training and support as required to ensure the availability and performance of developed reports and dashboards for both external and internal usersOversee completion of documentation associated with programming tasks to ensure activities and processes performed are conducted per standard operating procedures, guidelines and protocolsEssential Skills/Experience:Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 5 years of experience in a professional environment.Accomplished programming skills in Python/SAS/R/SQL/ SQL/Power BI/ SpotFire or other dashboard technologiesIntermediate knowledge of clinical development processGood knowledge of industry standardsAbility to influence relevant partners.Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills, writing, communication skills, and ability to work within a multi-functional teamAbility to work in a distributed team environment.Technical expertise with data capture, data models, data mining, and visualization techniques.Prior Experience and understanding of EDC systems like Medidata Rave / Inform / Veeva and Data Platforms like Saama/ Entimice, SAS LSAF etcDesirable Skills/Experience:Bachelor's/Master's degree or equivalent in computer science, life science or statisticsExcellent collaborative skills and the ability to manage complexity and change in a d
