Olive Tree Consulting Group

España

We are adding a Junior Project Coordinator to our team to support a long-term engagement with a major Spanish infrastructure group. This role is about maintaining the administrative and organizational rhythm that allows our consultants to focus on solving management problems. You will work in a fully remote environment, acting as the connective tissue for a project that spans complex operational workflows and large scale coordination.

About the Role The Junior Project Coordinator role exists because we believe that projects often fail not because of a lack of skill, but because of a lack of coordination and clear records. You will assist in translating high-level strategy into manageable tasks for our client. This is not about managing people but about managing the information that people use to make decisions.

Your work ensures that nothing gets lost when a project moves from planning to action. Being fully remote, your ability to document clearly and communicate asynchronously is central to the success of this engagement.

What You Will Do

- Attend client meetings to capture clear, concise notes that record decisions, open questions, and ownership.
- Update project timelines and track the completion of small, critical tasks across different workstreams.
- Draft status reports that avoid jargon and focus on what has actually changed since the last update.
- Organize the digital project repository so that documents and reference materials are easy for the team to find.
- Monitor the flow of information between our advisory team and the infrastructure group to ensure responses are timely.
- Assist in the preparation of workshop materials and briefing documents for leadership sessions.

- Set up the recurring meeting schedule and ensure all participants have the necessary context and documents beforehand.
- Maintain the project log to ensure that every decision has a written record and a clear path to execution.

What We Are Looking For

- A natural tendency toward organization and a preference for order over chaos.
- The ability to listen to a complex discussion and summarize the most important points in plain English.
- Comfort working independently and staying productive in a remote setting.
- A willingness to ask questions when instructions are unclear or when you spot a gap in the project record.
- Strong written communication skills, particularly the ability to write without using corporate buzzwords.
- Patience and persistence when following up on outstanding tasks from various team members.
- A belief that good work is the result of consistent, small habits rather than grand gestures.

Helpful Background

- Familiarity with standard office tools like Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, or basic project tracking software.
- Experience managing a personal or academic project from start to finish, such as a thesis or a community event.
- Basic knowledge of how large organizations or infrastructure projects function is useful but not required.
- An interest in operations, organizational habits, or management consulting.
- Previous experience in an administrative role or a volunteer position requiring coordination.

What We Offer We provide a fully remote working environment that values your time and your ability to focus on deep work. This is a permanent, full-time position that includes a competitive pay structure suitable for an entry level professional. You will have the opportunity to learn our specific advisory methods while working on a project for a significant infrastructure client. We prioritize a quiet management style, which means your workday will be structured around meaningful tasks rather than constant, distracting interruptions.

About Olive Tree

Olive Tree Consulting Group is a focused advisory practice that helps leadership teams solve recurring management issues. We typically work on the space between strategy and daily execution. A team can have very capable people and still find that decisions keep reopening, priorities stall, or responsibility remains unclear.

These are rarely personality problems: they are structural habits that have not kept up with the company's growth.

We favor practical changes over large-scale transformation programs. Our work involves looking at how decisions are made, how meetings are run, and how ownership is recorded. We prefer useful written notes and clear ownership over polished presentations and vague alignment. Good advisory work should make things plainer and leave the team with a rhythm they can continue on their own.

The firm is built on the principle that memory is not a management system. We help teams create the smallest possible written record to support their work so that important follow-up does not depend on who was in the room or who has the best memory. The goal is a quieter management pattern that makes the existing work easier to lead.
