About The Role

What if your years of graduate-level mathematics training could directly shape how AI reasons through the world's most complex problems? We're looking for Mathematics Experts — Masters and PhD holders — to help train cutting-edge AI models to think more rigorously, solve more accurately, and reason more like a true mathematician.

This is a fully remote, versátil contract role built for academics, researchers, and advanced practitioners who want to put their deep expertise to work on something genuinely frontier. No prior AI experience needed — just exceptional mathematical knowledge and a sharp, precise mind.

What You'll Do

- Develop, solve, and review advanced mathematical problems with real-world relevance and rigorous structure
- Apply your expertise in algebra, calculus, statistics, discrete mathematics, or related areas to design complex, meaningful problem sets
- Evaluate AI-generated mathematical reasoning for correctness, depth, and clarity
- Collaborate asynchronously with AI researchers and fellow domain experts to strengthen model performance
- Ensure mathematical rigor and precision across all deliverables — from problem statements to worked solutions

Who You Are





- Holder of a Master's or PhD in Mathematics or a closely related field
- Deeply fluent in at least one core area: algebra, calculus, statistics, discrete mathematics, or equivalent
- Comfortable working with Python, MATLAB, or Mathematica for research or problem-solving tasks
- Exceptionally precise in both written and verbal communication — you know how to make complex ideas clear
- Self-directed and reliable when working independently in an asynchronous environment
- Fluent in English

Nice to Have

- Prior experience with data annotation, data quality evaluation, or AI training workflows
- Background in academic research, mathematical publishing, or curriculum design
- Familiarity with applied mathematics, mathematical modeling, or computational methods
- Experience reviewing or grading advanced mathematical work
