About the role
We are seeking an experienced Facilities Specialist to lead maintenance activities across our semiconductor manufacturing operations at two separate locations within Tenerife island.
This role is responsible for defining and executing maintenance strategies, developing preventive and predictive maintenance programs, improving equipment reliability, and providing technical leadership to maintenance technicians.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a team of maintenance technicians
- Establish maintenance best practices and standard operating procedures
- Develop, implement and continuously improve preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance programs
- Define maintenance schedules, task frequencies, spare parts requirements and resource allocation
- Drive equipment reliability initiatives through data analysis and failure prevention methodologies
- Manage equipment lifecycle strategies, including obsolescence and replacement planning
- Identify opportunities for process optimization, cost reduction, and increased equipment efficiency
- Manage and define interactions with equipment suppliers and exte
