Build the next version of Mapon Mapon builds B2B SaaS for companies whose work happens in the physical world. Our platform helps businesses manage vehicles, drivers and equipment, improve safety, cut costs, automate operations and comply with transport regulations.
We started in Riga in 2006. Today more than 35,000 clients use Mapon, with over 400,000 connected devices on the platform. We have 200+ colleagues and 150+ partners worldwide . In 2025, Mapon grew revenue by 22.8% to EUR 24.2 million while remaining profitable. We have completed eight acquisitions and plan organic and M&A; growth.
Were now hiring a CTO for Mapons next growth phase. This is not a maintenance role. The job is to modernize a mature, business-critical platform, build an engineering organization that scales beyond individual contributors and make technology a stronger driver of customer value and profitable growth.
Reporting to the CEO, you will change how Mapon makes technology decisions, builds software and develops technical leaders.




Your mission Build a scalable technology organization that executes Mapons strategy with speed, quality and commercial discipline, without depending on a few people.
You will lead a 50+ person engineering organization across multiple teams and own Mapons technology strategy, architecture, engineering effectiveness and platform evolution. You will partner with Product on what we build and why, and own how we build, operate and improve it.
The challenges youll tackle The work is technically broad and commercially meaningful:
A mature, multi-product SaaS platform that must be modernized while customers depend on it every day.
High-volume, near-real-time telemetry from 400,000+ connected devices.
APIs and integrations with customers, partners, vehicle manufacturers and hardware vendors, plus GPS devices, cameras and sensors operating in real-world conditions.
European transport and driving-time rules, where correctness is part of the product.
