Job Description:

An opportunity for a *Fuel and Fire Protection Systems Engineer* has arisen within *Airbus Defence and Space,* Getafe (Madrid). The selected candidate will join the *Fuel, Inerting and Fire Protection Systems Department*. You will be part of a team developing Cabin and non-pressurized Fire Protection Systems. As part of Fuel and Air-to-Air Refuelling, you will be involved in activities aiming to develop Fire Protection Systems for Mission Platforms.

*RESPONSIBILITIES*
- *Manage* equipment specification and lead supplier follow-up.
- *Support* System Verification & Validation (V&V;), Certification / Qualification processes, and drafting Means of Compliance (MoCs).
- *Provide* on-site support to activities in the Final Assembly Line (FAL) / secondment.
- *Coordinate* system management activities in front of Integrators, Chief Engineers (CEs), and Programme stakeholders.

- *Education:* Aeronautical, Industrial Engineering degree or a related discipline.




- *Experience:* Minimum 5 years of professional experience in systems engineering.
- *Soft skills:* High adaptability to work on new topics and collaborative capability in dynamic environments.
- *Languages:* Advanced level in English & Spanish (both written & spoken).
- *Technical knowledge:* Technical expertise in fluid and mechanical aircraft systems, along with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) development.
