Job Description: An opportunity for a *Structural Design Engineer* has arisen within *Airbus Defence and Space in Getafe (Madrid)*. You will be dedicated to design activities for Eurodrone, Europe’s most strategic future UAV Defence programme, specifically providing design support to Pre-FAL production activities. *Brief description of the department’s mission* The selected candidate will join the *Eurodrone Structural Design Engineering Team*. Eurodrone is a flagship European defence programme developed jointly by Germany, Italy, France, and Spain, playing a key role in European technological sovereignty. In this role, you will be part of a multidisciplinary and multicultural engineering environment, collaborating with various stakeholders (Stress, Aerodynamics, Systems, Production) to develop cutting-edge solutions for metallic and composite structural components. *RESPONSIBILITIES* The main tasks of the jobholder will be: * *Design and validate* structural components and assemblies (metallic and composite/hybrid), optimizing for weight, cost, performance,



and safety using modern engineering tools. * *Provide direct Design support to Pre-FAL production activities*, resolving technical issues such as HNCs, Concessions, and DAMs. * *Interface continuously* with key engineering departments (Stress, Systems Engineering, Aerodynamics, Maintainability) to define robust technical solutions. * *Support external and internal stakeholders*, providing technical assistance to Purchasing, Manufacturing Engineering, and Production teams, as well as following up with Design suppliers. * *Support the complete End-to-End lifecycle* of the aircraft using state-of-the-art design methodologies and software applications. * *Participate in technological development* within the structural discipline for advanced military aircraft projects. *SKILLS* Is your profile aligned to the following list of skills?
