Job Description: An opportunity for a *Stress Engineer* has arisen within *Airbus Defence and Space, Getafe (Madrid)*. The selected candidate will join the *Stress Department (Military Derivatives / Air Power)*. We are building a brand-new team inside an ambitious and challenging new upcoming military Program that will help reinforce European sovereignty. The team is dedicated to structural stress analysis and works in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment in close contact with internal engineering groups, experts, authorities, and external sub-contractors. *RESPONSIBILITIES* The main tasks of the jobholder will be: * *Analyse and validate* metallic, composite, or hybrid structures from a stress point of view. * *Write and check* stress dossiers, reports, technical justifications, test programs, and test reports. * *Define* justification approaches and ensure activity progress with support from Technical Authorities and Senior Engineers. * *Support* manufacturing processes by assessing structural non-conformities. * *Collaborate* closely with design engineers, experts,



civil/military authorities, internal Airbus engineering teams, and subcontractors. *SKILLS* Is your profile aligned to the following list of skills? Apply We are looking forward to know you: * *Education:* Master’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Aerospace preferred). * *Experience:* At least 3 years of experience in Stress Analysis. * *Soft skills:* Good communication skills, autonomous approach, high adaptability, open-mindedness, synthetic thinking, and openness to digital technologies. * *Languages:* Advanced level in English & French (both spoken & written). * *Technical knowledge:* Good knowledge of Airbus calculation methods and tools, analysis of metallic/composite/hybrid structures, and writing/checking stress dossiers and test programs. * *Valuable / Nice to have:* Spanish language skills will be valued. Eligibility for security clearance by recognized authorities is required.
