Offer Description

The selected person will join the Experimental Neuromuscular Pathology Research Group within the Neuroscience research line, as a Postdoctoral Researcher to participate, under the direction of the senior researchers of the laboratory or autonomously in research tasks focused on the study of the physiology and pathology of the neuromuscular system. Some of the tasks to be carried out are:
- The surgical and pharmacological manipulation of rodents, as well as the performance of behavioral tests to evaluate motor activity.




- The design and execution of both in vivo and in vitro experiments.
- The application and development of cell and molecular biology techniques.

Knowledge
- Academic record of the Master's Degree greater than 7 points.
- Animal Experimentation Course.
- Specific training courses in procedures related to the research to be carried out (particularly microscopy and image analysis, among others)
- Oral and written command of the English language.

Experience
- Experience in electrophysiological recordings.
- Experience in advanced optical and electron microscopy procedures.
- Mastery of cell and molecular biology techniques (immunohistochemistry, western blot, immunoprecipitation, PCR, cloning, etc.).
- Experience in surgical and pharmacological manipulation of experimental animals and carrying out behavioural tests.
- Mastery of cell culture techniques.
- Experience in image analysis procedures (ImageJ, IMARIS, etc.)
