Are you passionate about language teaching and looking for a meaningful part-time role in education on Mallorca? A state-subsidised school (col·legi concertat) located in Palma is currently looking for an English Conversation Assistant for secondary education (secundaria). In this role, you will help secondary students develop their oral English skills and boost their conversational confidence in a dynamic classroom environment.
Your main responsibilities will focus on supporting students' speaking abilities and spoken communication during the school term:
- Conducting engaging English conversation sessions tailored to secondary school students.
- Encouraging active student participation and interactive dialogue in English.
- Working closely with the school's teaching team during scheduled morning classes.
- Delivering 10 weekly teaching hours distributed across morning sessions.

To be considered for this position, you should meet the following requirements:




- Excellent command of English with a C2 level or equivalent native-level proficiency.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to motivate and guide teenage learners.
- High reliability, enthusiasm for education, and ability to work in Palma.
- Availability to work Monday through Friday during morning hours between 8:00 and 15:00.
- No specific prior academic degree is formally required for this post.

What this position offers:
- A discontinuous fixed contract (fijo discontinuo) with an approximate duration of 7 months aligned with the academic year.
- A part-time workload of 10 hours per week in a morning schedule (Monday to Friday, between 8:00 and 15:00).
- A gross annual salary of 10,206 EUR corresponding to the 10-hour weekly schedule.
- Planned start date on October 1, 2026, with the possibility of contract extension (prorrogable).
