Job Summary (List Format) Senior Business Analyst (Manufacturing)

- Serve as a domain expert in pharma manufacturing, supporting the Enterprise Recipe Management initiative.
- Identify and pre-assess high-value business opportunities through stakeholder interviews and process analysis.
- Design and document business process flows and detailed user stories for core manufacturing systems (Emerson PKM, MES, LIMS, ERP, PLM) ensuring GxP compliance and data interoperability.
- Develop functional specifications, technical documentation, and architecture decision records for system configurations, integrations, and reporting requirements.
- Facilitate alignment and understanding between business stakeholders and technical teams regarding business processes, data flows, and system capabilities.
- Identify and support implementation of Generative AI/ML use cases in the manufacturing context.
- Collaborate globally, especially during critical CET overlap hours (3 7 PM CET) with EU and US teams.
- Ensure effective communication and productive discussions to drive outcomes in a cross-functional team environment.




- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of manufacturing processes for drug substances/products and relevant integration technologies.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- 5 10 years' experience as a Functional Architect and/or Business Analyst/Consultant in pharma or life sciences.
- Hands-on experience with product recipe design and manufacturing system integrations (PLM, MES, LIMS, ERP, SAP S4 HANA, DeltaV, etc.).
- Strong analytical skills and ability to translate business needs into structured requirements.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills in a global, cross-functional environment.
- Fluent in English; ability to work remotely/hybrid with overlapping CET working hours.

Preferred/Good to Have:
- Knowledge of ISA-95/ISA-88, SAFe Agile, and data interoperability/reporting standards.
- Familiarity with SQL databases and relational data structures.
- Experience in regulated environments, preferably Roche or similar.
- Exposure to multi-site/integral manufacturing integration projects and enterprise-level architecture alignment.
