Their Payment Services division consists of circa 150 engineers working across four core verticals including pay ins, payouts, payments performance and platform onboarding.They are now hiring a Frontend Architect to operate cross functionally across all four verticals, reporting into the VP of Engineering.This is not an execution heavy role. It requires a strategic architectural mindset and the ability to influence frontend standards and technical direction across multiple teams.The remit:Define and steward the frontend architecture across teamsEstablish and evolve a frontend baseline covering tooling, Node LTS policy, TypeScript standards, testing posture and CI templatesDesign robust frontend backend integrations including API contracts, versioning, error handling and BFF patterns where appropriateLead performance strategy including Core Web Vitals, asset budgets, hydration and CDN strategyEnsure accessibility, security and internationalisation are built into the architectureDrive developer experience across micro frontends,
