AI Tech Lead – Generative AI & AzureCompruebe a continuación si tiene lo necesario para esta oportunidad y, si es así, envíe su solicitud lo antes posible.About the roleWe are looking for an AI Tech Lead to join a strategic AI program within a large international environment.In this role, you will combine hands-on technical expertise with technical leadership, leading a cross-functional AI squad of up to 6 engineers and helping shape the architecture, engineering standards, and delivery of production-ready AI solutions.The main focus will be on Generative AI, RAG, LLM-powered applications, scalable backend systems, and cloud-native AI solutions on Microsoft Azure.You will work closely with Product Owners, Data Scientists, frontend developers, business teams, and other technical stakeholders to turn business needs into robust, scalable, and reliable AI products.This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys being close to the technology while also acting as a technical reference point for the team, driving engineering quality, mentoring others, and taking ownership of architectural decisions.What you'll doLead and coordinate a cross-functional AI squad of up to 6 engineers, ensuring alignment on technical direction, priorities, and delivery timelinesDefine and enforce technical standards, engineering best practices, and architecture guidelines across the squadDesign and oversee the development of scalable backend systems and APIs supporting AI-powered applicationsDrive the design and implementation of RAG architectures and LLM-based solutionsArchitect and validate cloud-based AI solutions using Microsoft AzureWork with Azure services such as Azure OpenAI, Azure Functions, App Services, Cosmos DB, and Azure Key VaultEnsure AI solutions are designed with scalability, security, maintainability, and production readiness in mindConduct code reviews, provide technical mentoring, and support the upskilling of squad membersAct as the technical interface between the engineering squad and stakeholders including Product Owners, Data Scientists, frontend developers,



and business teamsDefine standards around performance, reliability, observability, monitoring, and high availabilitySupport the resolution of complex technical issues and help remove engineering blockersEvaluate new approaches, frameworks, and technologies within the Generative AI and LLM ecosystemTranslate emerging AI trends into practical and valuable initiatives for the squad and the businessMust HaveStrong experience in Software Engineering / AI Engineering, ideally in senior or technical leadership rolesPrevious experience acting as a Tech Lead, Lead Engineer, or technical reference point within an engineering teamExperience leading, mentoring, or technically coordinating software or AI engineersHands-on experience designing and delivering end-to-end AI solutions in cloud environmentsStrong experience with Generative AI and LLM-based applicationsHands-on experience designing and implementing RAG solutionsExperience designing backend systems and scalable APIsStrong understanding of software architecture and engineering best practicesExperience working with Microsoft AzureFamiliarity with services such as Azure OpenAI, Azure Functions, App Services, Cosmos DB, and/or Azure Key VaultExperience with production-grade engineering concepts such as observability, monitoring, reliability, performance,
