Senior Mechanical Design Engineer – Madrid, SpainWelcome to the future of nuclear energy, where Westinghouse Electric Company is leading the field with expertise and progress to shape the power of tomorrow.At Westinghouse, innovation is in our DNA.We are creative.We think differently.We reimagine the possible across the nuclear industry every day.About The RoleAs a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer you will join the radiation, waste management and decommissioning department, with more than 100 employees in areas such as segmentation of reactor vessels and its internal parts.You will develop project‑specific tools for cutting and handling of the radioactive components.You will report to the Segmentation Engineering Manager and be located at Madrid.A maximum assignment of 4 weeks per year in Vasteras (Sweden) is also included.Hybrid work schedule.Main ResponsibilitiesMake 3 D simulations in CAD of the cutting and of the packing in containers.Develop detailed designs for the manufacturing of the tools.Write instructions to our technicians who will use the tools.QualificationsBachelor / Master degree in Mechanical Engineering.5+ years of experience in Mechanical Design,
