About Us

SOMOS is going video-first. We're building our social presence around short-form content — TikTok, Reels,



Shorts — and we're looking for someone who loves being on camera to become the face and voice of that content for the Latino diaspora.

This is a rare chance to grow into an in-house influencer from the ground up. You won't just be executing someone else's brief: you'll help shape the formats, experiment with what lands, and gradually build a genuine relationship with an audience that's growing alongside you. As you find your rhythm, the role gets more creative freedom — including space for your own "free post" days once you're established.

If you've ever wanted to build a personal brand while building a startup's, this is that opportunity.

What will you be doing?

Be on camera: Front short-form videos (TikToks, Reels, Shorts) with energy, authenticity, and a real connection to the Latino experience abroad.

Create and experiment: Work alongside the Lead Orchestrator and our content team (Noelia, Adriana, and more) to test different video formats and find what resonates — the goal is a content style that feels genuinely yours.

Build the audience relationship: Show up consistently so the audience gets to know you. Over time, you'll have more room to be spontaneous and creative as trust with the community grows.

Grow with the platform:



As the concept matures, take on more ownership of the content direction — including your own creative "free post" days.

What are we looking for? A passion for Latin America, plus:

Comfortable on camera: You genuinely enjoy filming yourself, talking to an audience, and putting your personality into content.

A creator's instinct: You know what makes short-form video work — hooks, trends, audio, pacing — or you're hungry to learn fast.

Authenticity: You connect with people. The Latino diaspora should feel like you get them, because you do.

Bilingual proficiency: Fluency in Spanish and/or Portuguese, plus enough English to work with the UK-based team. Being able to create content in more than one language is a big plus.

Cultural sensitivity: A deep understanding and love of Latin American culture, customs, and traditions.

Consistency and initiative: You can show up regularly and bring your own ideas to the table.

Passion for entrepreneurship: You're excited to build something from scratch and grow with it.

Requirements

Being comfortable on camera and fluent in English and/or Portuguese or Spanish. Beyond that, a passion for Latin America and connecting with Latinos - the rest can be learnt.
