Role Description The GenAI Filmmaker is a full-time, on-site role based in Barcelona, focused on creating films that integrate generative AI tools with traditional filmmaking techniques. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing concepts, writing scripts, and planning visual narratives in close collaboration with creative and technical teams.

The role involves directing and overseeing shoots, guiding performance and visual style, and working with AI-driven tools to generate, refine, and iterate on footage and scenes. The GenAI Filmmaker will participate in the full production lifecycle, from pre-production planning through post-production editing and compositing,



ensuring that each project aligns with Gnosika’s creative vision and technical standards. This role also includes ongoing experimentation with new AI workflows and contributing to the lab’s evolving cinematic methodologies.

Qualifications

- Strong skills in Film Direction and Scriptwriting, with the ability to translate concepts into coherent visual stories.
- Experience in Film Production and Video Production, including planning shoots, coordinating crews, and managing production timelines.
- Proficiency in Post-Production, such as editing, sound, and visual refinement, ideally with exposure to AI-assisted tools.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including technical, creative, and production collaborators.
- Familiarity with generative AI platforms, creative coding, or computational media is highly beneficial.
- Strong visual and narrative sensibility, with a portfolio or reel showcasing previous film or video work.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work on-site in Barcelona in a fast-paced, experimental environment.
- Relevant education or equivalent experience in Film, Media, Visual Arts, or related fields.
