At Novocure, every role contributes to extending the lives of people living with cancer. As our new Healthcare Reimbursement & Collections Specialist , you'll play a key part in this mission. This position is based in Madrid and sits within Revenue Operations, serving as a critical link between healthcare providers, payers, patients, and internal teams.

The role focuses on ensuring timely reimbursement and payment from hospitals, healthcare providers, and other payers. You will combine reimbursement administration, billing and invoicing support, Purchase Order coordination, proactive follow-up of outstanding payments, and collections activities within the Spanish healthcare environment.

We are looking for a proactive professional who takes ownership, enjoys solving problems, and is comfortable following up with multiple stakeholders to move payments forward. This role is particularly suited to someone with previous experience in pharmaceutical, medical device, or healthcare environments who understands how to navigate hospital billing, payment, and reimbursement processes.

What You’ll Do In this role, you will support patient onboarding, reimbursement, billing, and revenue operations across Spain by:

- Acting as a key point of contact for physicians and internal stakeholders throughout patient intake and treatment initiation activities
- Processing incoming prescription orders accurately and efficiently within Novocure systems to support timely patient onboarding
- Proactively following up with hospitals, healthcare providers, and other payers on outstanding invoices and payments
- Managing and following up on Purchase Orders and reimbursement requirements with treatment sites and payers to support timely billing and payment
- Investigating delayed or blocked payments, identifying the root cause, and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to resolve them
- Coordinating e-invoicing activities and ensuring invoices are submitted accurately and on time through third-party platforms
- Maintaining regular contact with hospital administrative, procurement, and finance teams regarding invoices, payment status, outstanding documentation, and next steps




- Partnering with Accounts Receivable to monitor aging accounts, prioritize outstanding receivables, and drive collection activities
- Collaborating closely with Key Account Managers, Market Access, healthcare providers, and payer organizations to resolve reimbursement and payment-related matters
- Monitoring account status and proactively communicating gaps, risks, and required actions
- Maintaining accurate documentation of reimbursement, billing, collections, and stakeholder communications within Novocure systems
- Supporting reporting, tracking, and continuous improvement initiatives across Revenue Operations

About You

Minimum Requirement

- 3+ years of experience in billing, collections, accounts receivable, reimbursement operations, or revenue cycle activities within the pharmaceutical, medical device, or healthcare industry
- Hands-on experience following up outstanding payments directly with hospitals, healthcare providers, or other healthcare payers
- Experience resolving invoice, Purchase Order, reimbursement, or payment issues with hospital administration, procurement, finance teams, or payer organizations
- Fluency in Spanish and strong conversational English, both written and spoken
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Outlook
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and stakeholder follow-ups simultaneously
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accurate documentation and process execution

These additional qualifications are preferred:
- Experience working with Spanish hospitals and healthcare payment or reimbursement processes
- Experience with e-invoicing and hospital procurement processes
- SAP or other ERP system experience




- Proven ability to independently manage multiple accounts and stakeholder relationships
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with the confidence to proactively follow up and resolve payment issues
- Proactive and customer-focused mindset with a strong sense of ownership and accountability
- Experience operating within highly regulated pharmaceutical, medical device, or healthcare environments
