About the role**

As a Junior Software Engineer – AI Vision / Computer Vision, you will contribute to the development of software capabilities that use artificial vision within parcel management and automated logistics systems. Working alongside experienced engineers, you will help build, test, validate, and improve computer vision-enabled product functionality.

This role is adecuado for an early-career engineer with a strong interest in software engineering, computer vision, AI-based perception, and practical product development in an industrial environment.

Your responsibilities

As a Junior Software Engineer, you will:

- Contribute to the development and maintenance of AI vision-enabled software components for parcel management systems.
- Support the implementation, testing, debugging, and documentation of computer vision-related product functionality.
- Work with image data, camera inputs, software services, and validation scenarios under the guidance of senior engineers.
- Participate in prototypes, experiments, and product improvement activities related to computer vision and AI-based perception.
- Collaborate with software engineers, architects, product owners, and automation specialists in a multidisciplinary environment.
- Learn how AI vision capabilities are integrated into product software and broader logistics and automation systems.
- Support the validation and optimization of software solutions to ensure reliability and performance in real-world operational environments.

Your profile You are eager to develop your technical expertise and enjoy solving complex engineering challenges in a collaborative environment.

You bring

- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Robotics, or a related field.
- Basic software engineering experience through internships, projects, coursework, or your first professional role.
- A strong interest in computer vision, image processing, AI/ML, or perception-based technologies.
- Experience with or exposure to programming languages such as Python, C#, Java, or C++.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- A willingness to learn from experienced engineers and continuously develop your technical capabilities.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
- A proactive and curious mindset with a hands-on approach to building and improving software solutions.

Nice to have
- Familiarity with OpenCV or other computer vision frameworks.
- Experience with machine learning projects through university, internships, or personal projects.
- Interest in automation, robotics, logistics, or industrial technology.
- Understanding of software testing and modern development practices.
