Ottimo Ambassador
Marketing & Influencer Internship
Ottimo AI · Remote (Europe & UK) · Part-time · Paid · 3 to 6 months · Starts late September 2026
You love travel. You spend more time than you should imagining your next trip, planning trips for friends, scrolling through other people's. You have probably already realised that what you do for fun, picking destinations, finding the right hostel, sniffing out the restaurant the locals actually go to, is a real skill.
What if your first proper job let you use it?
What we're building
Ottimo AI is an AI-powered travel platform. You describe your idóneo trip and it generates a complete day-by-day itinerary with real booking links for flights, hotels and experiences. Travellers can share the trips they create and earn Ottimo Points when other people book through them. The MVP is live at ottimo.ai, the trademark is filed, and we are right at the beginning of building the brand. That is where you come in.
The honest version of this role
Most first internships involve fetching coffee, formatting slides, and watching other people do the interesting work. We don't need any of that. We need fresh eyes and someone who actually understands how people discover, plan and share trips today.
Here is what we won't pretend: this is a very small, early-stage company, the pay is modest, and the role is temporary by design. What you get in exchange is unusual access. You will work directly with the founder, with no layers in between, and you will finish with real campaigns you can point to in any interview. That trade is the whole offer.
What you'd actually do
We will pick one or two of these together, based on where you are strongest:
- Influencer outreach. Finding and approaching travel creators on Instagram, TikTok and YouTube, and running those conversations end to end.
- Press and blogger outreach. Building the media list, pitching, following up.
- Brand partnerships. Hotels, tourism boards, travel companies.
- Campaigns and content. From concept through launch, then looking honestly at what the numbers did.
- Community. Building the first real group of travellers who share the trips they create.
You will see the results of your work in days or weeks, not buried in a report nobody reads.
What you bring
Not a CV full of impressive titles. Most of these:
- Early in your career. A student, a recent graduate, or someone making a first move into marketing. Any background: we care more about the person than the degree.
- Strong written English. Spanish is a big plus, other languages better still.
- Real curiosity about how people discover destinations and decide where to go.
- Active on at least one social platform, and able to spot what makes content work.
- Comfortable taking initiative. You try things, learn fast, and ask good questions when stuck.
- Reliable. We are small, and we trust you to follow through.
No prior internship experience required.
The practicalities
How the role is structured. We use the word “internship” because the role is designed for people early in their careers, with mentorship built in. Legally it is a paid part-time employment contract through an Employer of Record: a real contract, real payslips, real local social contributions.
Not an unpaid “opportunity.” If you are a student and want academic credit (a convenio de prácticas or equivalent), you would arrange that through your university. We will provide any documentation you need but won't be initiating those agreements ourselves.
Hours. Up to 60 hours a month,
roughly 15 hours a week. Flexible around your studies and exam periods.
Pay. €900 per month gross (£780 in the UK), plus a performance bonus of up to €750 over the contract, paid at the midpoint and at the end. The bonus is tied to things you can control, like creators signed and press placements landed, and we will agree the targets with you in week one.
Duration. 3 to 6 months, with the possibility of extending or growing into a permanent role. To be straight with you: that depends on us raising our seed round, which isn't guaranteed. We would rather tell you where that stands than dangle it.
Location. Fully remote, anywhere in Europe or the UK. You will need a few hours of overlap with European working hours.
Start date. Late September 2026. We are incorporating the company now and interviewing in parallel. If the timeline slips, we will tell you straight away rather than leave you waiting.
Positions. One, to start. We would rather pay one person properly than two people badly. If our raise lands, we will expand from there.
How to apply
Email
[email protected] with a short message, in English or Spanish, telling us:
1. Why this role interests you. A few sentences is plenty, we are more interested in honesty than polish.
2. The most memorable trip you have ever planned, yours or someone else's, and what made it work.
3. One travel creator, blogger or journalist you would love to see cover Ottimo AI, and why.
A LinkedIn profile link is enough. No CV needed at this stage. Applications close 6 September. Shortlisted candidates have one 30-minute video call with the founder, and we decide within two weeks of the closing date.

We will use the information you send us only to assess your application, and we will delete it within six months unless you ask us to keep it on file.
