About the job

We are looking for a Trade Marketing Specialist to join our team in Barcelona, Spain . In this role, you will drive trade marketing initiatives across the pharmacy and parapharmacy channels, helping to strengthen brand visibility, optimize in-store execution, and support commercial growth.

Working closely with Sales, Marketing, and external partners, you will turn market insights into impactful promotions, point-of-sale activations, and shopper engagement programs The Job's Mission The Trade Marketing Specialist will be responsible for developing and implementing the brand’s Trade Marketing strategy across the pharmacy and parapharmacy channels, ensuring strong in-store execution and supporting commercial and marketing priorities.

The role will focus on maximizing brand visibility, driving sell-in and sell-out and enhancing the shopper experience through effective point-of-sale materials, promotions and channel-specific activations, and supporting business decisions through solid data, KPI and performance analysis.

In addition, the position will coordinate cross-functional marketing projects and materials, working closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure consistent and timely execution.

Key Responsibilities

1. Channel Analysis & Performance Monitoring

- Analyze market, sales and category and syndicated data to monitor business performance and identify opportunities across pharmacy and parapharmacy channels.
- Perform sell-in and sell-out analysis to understand customer, channel and product performance.
- Track key business KPIs linked to commercial priorities, promotional activities, POS execution and local Marketing initiatives.
- Prepare regular reports to assess the effectiveness of promotions, point-of-sale materials and in-store activations.
- Identify opportunities to improve brand visibility, distribution, sell-out and execution across pharmacy and parapharmacy.
- Monitor competitor activity and key channel trends.
- Translate data and insights into actionable recommendations for marketing and sales teams.

2. Point-of-Sale Management & Marketing Materials

- Develop and coordinate visibility and communication materials for pharmacy and parapharmacy, including displays, POS materials, stoppers, catalogues, sales folders and other promotional assets.
- Manage projects aimed at improving brand presence and execution at the point of sale.
- Adapt materials and activations to the specific needs of parapharmacy chains, pharmacy groups and independent customers.
- Prepare briefs and manage relationships with agencies, designers, printers and other suppliers.
- Coordinate with Supply Chain the production, receipt, availability and distribution of materials.




- Manage the stock of Marketing materials and components under the department’s responsibility.
- Ensure correct implementation of brand image and execution standards at the point of sale.

3. Commercial Activation & Sales Support

- Develop and coordinate promotions, special offers, sell-out campaigns and other initiatives designed to drive sales in pharmacy and parapharmacy.
- Support the sales force with the materials, tools and information required to execute cycle priorities and local initiatives.
- Plan and coordinate the distribution of samples and promotional materials to the sales force.
- Manage sampling activities, promotions, competitions and other special activations.
- Coordinate and supervise the field merchandising (GPV) team supporting the parapharmacy channel, including priorities, execution guidelines, samples distribution and follow-up of in-store activities.
- Participate in the organization and operational coordination of sales cycle meetings.
- Support commercial teams and customers with queries related to products, promotions and marketing materials.

4. Cross-Functional Marketing Coordination

- Manage the translation and creation of new artworks, packs and other product-related marketing materials.
- Manage national parapharmacy codes, free-sale certificates and new product notifications through the relevant platforms and processes.
- Coordinate cross-functional marketing projects and materials involving Marketing, Sales, Supply Chain, Regulatory and other internal stakeholders.
- Participate in meetings and projects with the Regional Marketing team.
- Coordinate the planning and execution of congresses, trade fairs and other professional events, including suppliers, booth production, materials and logistics.
- Support the training of new employees, sales teams and customer commercial teams when required.
- Give support to social media related topics in coordination with an external agency.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Qualifications

- University degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communication or a related field.
- Strong ability to analyze market, sales and category data and translate insights into actionable trade marketing initiatives.
- Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills.
- Spanish: Native or near-native level, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- English:



Full Professional Proficiency.
- Catalan: Desirable.

Experience

- Previous experience in Trade Marketing, Customer Marketing or Marketing, ideally within pharmacy, parapharmacy, FMCG, healthcare or personal care.
- Proven experience analyzing market, sales and category data, including sell-in and sell-out performance.
- Experience with syndicated data will be highly valued.
- Experience managing point-of-sale materials, promotions, suppliers and in-store activations.
- Experience coordinating field merchandising or GPV teams will be highly valued.
