We are looking for a proactive and hands-on HSE Supervisor to strengthen our HSEQ and operational teams.
Key responsibilities
Conduct site visits/audits, safety inspections and operational assessments across different locations and activities.
Identify, assess and control occupational health & safety and environmental risks.
Carry out risk assessments and verify the implementation of appropriate control measures.
Support operational and technical teams in the planning and execution of high-risk activities.
Promote safe working practices and actively contribute to the development of a strong and proactive safety culture.
Deliver toolbox talks, safety briefings, awareness sessions and training activities.
Lead incident, accident and near-miss investigations, identifying root causes and ensuring effective corrective actions are implemented.
Travel to operational sites and company locations when required.
Essential requirements
Formal qualification in Occupational Health and Safety.
At least 3 years of experience in a safety, HSE or operational safety role.
Experience working in practical, operational or field-based environments.
Experience conducting risk assessments, workplace inspections and safety audits.
Experience investigating incidents and implementing corrective and preventive actions.
Good understanding of occupational health and safety legislation and risk management principles.
Fluent Spanish and English.
Willingness to travel regularly between operational locations (approx. 30%).
Based in, or willing to relocate to, Tarragona / Barcelona.
Desirable
HSE qualifications such as NEBOSH or equivalent.
Experience in energy, offshore, maritime, port or other high-risk industries.
Experience with ISO management systems, particularly ISO *****, ISO ***** and ISO ****.
Previous exposure to maritime regulations or safety management systems is an advantage, but not essential.
