As a Backend Engineer / Platform Engineer, you'll help build reliable, scalable services that connect applications, data and infrastructure across the organisation.

This is a hands-on opportunity for an experienced backend engineer who enjoys solving complex problems, designing pragmatic solutions and working across the boundaries of software engineering, data platforms and cloud infrastructure. Build and evolve backend services, APIs and platform tooling used by data and engineering teams. Develop performant data models and scalable, resilient storage solutions.

Improve data quality, observability, lineage and platform reliability.



Work closely with infrastructure teams on cloud environments, provisioning and maintenance. 7+ years of professional software engineering experience. Strong backend development skills in Python, C#, Java or a similar language.

Experience with cloud infrastructure and services, ideally Azure. Practical knowledge of Kubernetes, CI/CD and modern DevOps practices. Working experience with databases, preferably PostgreSQL. Understanding of data integration, workflow orchestration and distributed systems.
