? About the Opportunity

We're looking for a junior, technically-minded Operations Associate to own client onboarding at Kompanion, and then rebuild it around AI agents.

Onboarding a new client today involves real, hands-on work: collecting documents, configuring systems, coordinating with our accounting team, chasing information, entering data across tools. Your first job is to run that process yourself, by hand, for real clients, until you know every step, every edge case, and every bit of friction from the inside.

Once you know it cold, your real mission starts: use AI agents to make onboarding as fast and effortless as possible. We're not looking for a couple of scripts around the edges; we want onboarding rebuilt around agents that handle the repetitive, well-defined steps end to end, so a human only steps in for judgment calls and exceptions.

You don't need prior experience in accounting or operations. We're looking for someone recently out of university (or with up to ~2 years of experience) who is organised and reliable enough to run a real client process, and technical enough to turn what they learn into working agents.

✅ What You'll Be Doing

- Run client onboarding by hand first, guiding real clients from kickoff to fully live on Kompanion, following and refining our existing playbook until you know it inside out.

Design and build AI agents that take over the repetitive, well-defined parts of onboarding: gathering documents, validating data,



configuring systems, following up with clients, updating our internal tools.
- Measure and improve relentlessly: track how long onboarding takes and where it breaks down, then drive both down step by step as you roll out agents.
- Coordinate across teams, working with clients directly and with our accounting and product teams to unblock the cases your agents can't yet handle.
- Feed learnings back, surfacing friction and edge cases from real onboardings to Ops and Product, and deciding what's worth automating next.

? What You'll Need

- Recently graduated or up to ~2 years of experience; this is a junior role and we'll teach you the operational and accounting context you need.
- A technical background or clear technical aptitude: studies in Computer Science, Engineering, Data, or similar, or self-taught with something to show for it (projects, a GitHub, agents or automations you've built).
- Genuine interest in building with AI agents (Claude, GPT, or similar): a personal project counts for more than a certificate.
- Excellent organisation and follow-through: you can run a real process by hand, carefully, before you automate it.
- Strong client communication: clear, professional, and reassuring even when things get messy.
- Basic comfort with code or scripting (Python is a plus) and/or agent/automation tools (Zapier, Make, n8n, or similar).
- Fluent Spanish, Catalan and English are required.

✨ Nice to Have

- Experience calling LLM APIs or building simple agent workflows (even a toy project).
- Exposure to APIs and simple integrations (calling an API, parsing a webhook, connecting two tools).




- Experience with spreadsheets/data beyond basic formulas (Google Sheets/Excel + scripting or Apps Script).
- Curiosity about fintech, accounting, or tax, even without formal background in it.
