Job description

We are seeking experienced Oncology Consultants to support intelligence and conference coverage activities across three leading oncology congresses in 2026: ESMO, ENA and SABCS. The role involves attending conference sessions, reviewing scientific presentations and posters, collaborating with a global project team, and delivering timely insights for leading pharmaceutical clients.

Role & Responsibilities

- Deliver daily Primary CI reports in during each conference, capturing relevant intelligence in a clear, structured, and decision-useful format.




- Coordinate closely with the India-based team to identify and obtain disclosures, including relevant posters and sessions.
- Attend and cover priority sessions, posters, and other assigned conference activities in line with the agreed coverage plan.
- Conduct ethical and compliant primary intelligence gathering through appropriate interactions and onsite observations, documenting source context accurately.
- Participate in an end-of-day connect with the India team to exchange learnings, clarify emerging signals, and align next-day priorities.
- Maintain timely communication on coverage gaps, access constraints, schedule changes, and emerging intelligence requiring immediate attention.
- Ensure all reports are accurate, concise, source-referenced, and delivered within agreed daily timelines.

Competencies

- Consultant-level experience in life sciences competitive intelligence, market intelligence, or strategic research.
- Strong oncology knowledge, with demonstrated depth across solid tumors and the ability to interpret clinical and scientific data presented at major congresses.
- Prior hands-on experience in on-ground conference intelligence coverage, including rapid daily reporting of gathered intelligence.




- Demonstrated Primary CI capability, including compliant information gathering, structured note-taking, source validation, and synthesis of implications.
- Ability to distinguish material competitive signals from routine updates and communicate implications clearly to an offsite project team.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Self-directed, dependable, and comfortable working across time zones in a fast-paced conference environment.
- Strong coordination skills and willingness to work as an integrated extension of the India-based delivery team.

Travel and Availability Requirements

- Candidates must be available for the full conference dates and the applicable 1 buffer day for each assigned event.
- Candidates are responsible for maintaining valid passports, visas, and other documentation required for the assigned destination, subject to the final contractual travel arrangement.

Education and Experience

- Postgraduate qualification in Pharmacy, Biological Sciences, Life Sciences, Medicine, Biotechnology, or a related discipline; a relevant management qualification is an advantage.
- Relevant consulting, competitive intelligence, market intelligence, or scientific research experience within the pharmaceutical / healthcare sector.
- Demonstrable oncology conference coverage experience and work samples or examples of rapid-turnaround intelligence reporting are preferred.
- Experience working with global pharmaceutical clients and distributed delivery teams is preferred.
