Role Summary:

We are seeking a hands-on Tax Technology Consultant with experience in OneSource Tax Provision or comparable direct tax technology platforms. This role will support tax technology initiatives across requirements gathering, testing, issue management, deployment, and operational support, working closely with Tax, IT, and project stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

- Support OneSource Tax Provision and related tax technology projects, enhancements, and operational activities.
- Gather and document business and technical requirements, process flows, user stories, test scenarios, and support procedures.
- Use JIRA to manage tasks, defects, testing activities, issue resolution, and follow-up actions.
- Partner with Tax, IT, application, and project teams to execute testing, validate outcomes, investigate defects, and coordinate issue resolution.
- Provide hands-on support throughout build, testing, deployment, and post-go-live stabilization activities.
- Assist with production support, incident resolution, release activities, and continuous improvement of tax technology processes.




- Maintain clear project and support documentation to enable effective knowledge transfer and ongoing application support.

Required Skills and Experience:

- Experience with OneSource Tax Provision, Thomson Reuters tax solutions, or comparable direct tax technology platforms.
- Strong experience with JIRA, requirements documentation, testing, defect management, and issue tracking.
- Ability to translate business requirements into clear technical requirements, user stories, and testable outcomes.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with a structured, detail-oriented approach.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with business and technical stakeholders.
- Strong communication, documentation, coordination, and follow-through skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience supporting SOX, Finance, Tax, or compliance-related applications and processes.
- Understanding of direct tax provision processes and related technology workflows.
- Experience supporting tax technology transformation, application implementations, or system enhancements.
- Familiarity with enterprise project delivery, release management, and post-production support environments.
